Tend ~ Our Word of the Year

A few days on Martha’s Vineyard with my family and good friends was a pretty perfect way to usher in the New Year and our 2023 Word of the Year.

tend (verb): to care for or look after; to give one’s attention to.

I love the process of choosing a word to ground and align our intentions, personally and for the collective. We’ve done this for almost 10 years, and each time it’s beautiful to see it come to life throughout the year.

RISE was our word for 2022. Choosing TEND in 2023 is to make sure that all the fierce and mighty seeds that sprouted thru the dirt last year, continue to grow and thrive.

Tend is to care for; to give one’s attention. We see you. We see where we are. We are paying attention.
