A Gift of Wisdom, Protection & Love

Someday, maybe soon, maybe later, you will hear the story about today. You will hear about the gift of Sage I was gifted by a sweet and fiercely wild 9 year old girl. You will hear about how I met her and her incredible mother when I responded to a random Craigslist advert about backyard chickens. You will hear about a crazy adventure with my dear girlfriend. You will hear what happens when you open your heart and your ears to people’s stories.

But for now I will share just this, the beauty and splendor I received from the hands of a little girl, who simply wanted to give me some of her dried sage to take home with me.

Sage is for love, protection and wisdom.

And on this, the first week of The Bird and Bear Collective, I feel grateful, encouraged and loved.
